Terms of Service

1. Age Requirement

Arianova operates in full compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase alcohol from this website. To comply with New Zealand law, you are required to confirm your age through a two-step verification process: first upon entering our website, and again immediately prior to completing your checkout.

By placing an order, you confirm that both you and the intended recipient of the delivery are 18 years or older. We reserve the right to request age verification at the point of delivery. If age cannot be verified, the delivery may not be completed.

2. Pricing & GST

All prices displayed on the Arianova website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) at the current rate of 15%. Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $6.99 per order (inclusive of GST).

We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

3. Allocations & Inventory

Due to the rare and highly allocated nature of the estates we represent, all orders are subject to availability. While our inventory is updated in real time, in the unlikely event of a stock discrepancy, we reserve the right to cancel or refund orders that cannot be fulfilled. You will be notified promptly and refunded in full if this occurs.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship nationwide within New Zealand only. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery. Please ensure someone 18 years or older is available to receive the delivery.

In accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, alcohol deliveries will not be made between the hours of 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, or on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, or before 1:00 PM on Anzac Day.

5. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on wine that has been delivered in good condition. If a bottle arrives damaged, corked, or otherwise faulty, please contact us at info@arianova.co.nz within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

6. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. All goods sold through this website come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under New Zealand consumer law, including that goods will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.

7. Accounts

Accounts created on Arianova are for personal use. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we reasonably suspect they are being used for unauthorised commercial resale without a valid Wholesale partnership.

8. Liquor Licence

Arianova Ltd holds a valid off-licence under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. A legible image of our current off-licence can be viewed at the bottom of our website. These licence details are also included on all digital order receipts.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
